Functionality: More Than Just Decoration
Stage curtains are the most defining elements of the theatrical space. Their function goes far beyond simply dividing the space: they play a fundamental role in defining the stage area, concealing technical elements in the background, separating the audience from the stage, and fine-tuning the acoustic environment.
B1 Stage Velvet: The Professional Choice
The curtains available at szinhazifuggony.hu are made from premium-quality, Class B1 stage velvet. This fabric is the industry standard, with unmatched light-absorbing properties and texture.
- Intense color depth: Velvet’s dense fiber structure allows for a deep black color that other materials simply cannot reproduce. This visual “darkness” is essential for achieving a theatrical effect.
- Silky Luster and Aesthetics: When illuminated, the velvet surface creates a soft, elegant play of light that enhances the quality of the performance.
- Acoustic benefits: Velvet’s natural density and texture effectively dampen reflected sounds, thereby improving the clarity of stage acoustics and reducing unwanted background noise.
Safety and Standards
When it comes to professional theater and flame-retardant curtains, safety is the most important factor alongside aesthetics. Every curtain we install meets strict fire safety standards (B1 flame-retardant class). Selecting the right curtains with the appropriate expertise and installing them precisely not only defines the style of a room but also ensures the safety of those inside.
